Games
I had the most fun with the www.allgirlarcade.com
This was an easy site to participate in, and I played several different games, Spot the Difference, Leaf Rider, Jessy's Dress up. For children these would be excellent games to learn mouse skills, I enjoyed the music that accompanied the games.
Games teach skills for the 21st century.
My husband has played many hours of Solitare on our home computer.
My 85 year old mother-in-law plays games on her laptop computer. Games are for all ages and skill levels. Entertaining and educational at the same time.
Gaming in libraries provide a place for socializing and education as well.

We used Yahoo Messenger to communicate, via typing real time messages within the library.

NewsReader Account
The News Reader account has been set up in Google, Google Reader.
One of the RSS Feeds I subscribed to is http://rss.cnn.com/rss/cnn_tech.rss
I found the RSS icon at the bottom of the web page for this subscription.
This was very easy to copy and paste in the address line of my account.
I have added another address to my News Reader, it is the government agency the Food and Drug Administration http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/news/rssPress.xml
The third News Reader site I am adding to my blog is, and this is so exciting! I am adding the Library of Congress digital preservation RSS http://www.loc.gov/rss/osi/digpre.xml
